Although Tiergarten was originally hunting grounds for the royal family, it was turned over to the commoners as public space in the 1800s so we were able to take advantage of the weather (as well as some 80 Euro cent ice cream) there today. Tiergarten is also notable for its naked sunbathers (mostly male, mostly old), but since I took no photos (very rare on my part!) I wouldn’t say we took advantage of them as well.
